Bruges Cheese Market
The Bruges Cheese Market will take place again on Sunday 6 September.
Come and sample the tastiest Belgian and international cheeses at one of the many stands. With more than 120 cheeses from Belgium and abroad, entertainment for the kids, an alphorn ensemble and lots more, the cheese market is an event for all ages.
Filip Claeys, chef of two-star restaurant ‘De Jonkman’ in Sint-Kruis, Bruges, will be opening the cheese market this year, in the presence of Kris Peeters and a number of top politicians from West-Flanders. Elio Di Rupo is also expected to travel to Bruges to discover the latest cheese trends.
The Bruges cheese market is organised by Brugge Kaasmarkt, a not-for-profit organisation. Revenues of the initiative are donated to charity.
